Yeah, trying new things shouldn't be frowned upon - the execution and whole point is shocking, but games should at least try new things - I'd just rather they tried new things with the actual football game. Now, I give EA some credit I suppose for trying something new with this open world rubbish. However, I'd have appreciated if the "trying something new" would have gone into actually upgrading the football - you know, the thing that people buy the game to play.

"Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is an okay Hell Let Loose game, but a superb Vietnam FPS. It's not an improvement on the original, but a decent lateral move that dives headlong into the action."
"After multiple tours, I'm in love with Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. A love that occasionally is blind to the historical inaccuracies, but is also willing to live with them because, based on what we have today, this is the best Vietnam War shooter I've played since the glory days of Vietcong in 2003."
"While Hell Let Loose: Vietnam's very nature fights against making its battles a streamlined experience like Battlefield 6, they're nevertheless deeply involving. Each death packs a greater impact, each kill a stronger sense of victory. Just hope that the squad you join have decent microphones."
"Not one for the faint of heart, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is a challenging FPS game that demands total teamwork at a minimum. Those who can get past a steep learning curve will find a lot to love here; it's a beautifully brutal game with a sky-high skill ceiling."
"Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is a tough but extremely rewarding shooter that's an utter blast when played as a team."
"Simply put, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is a complicated and rather hardcore shooter experience. This will either be the perfect shooter for you or it'll be your worst nightmare - there really isn't a middle-ground for this game. Regardless, love it or hate it, Expression has created a title with punchy and pleasing gunplay, detailed and vibrant graphics, and a multitude of gameplay options tied to the different modes and classes. The only question is whether you'll have the commitment and patience to learn the intricacies of the game before searching for something less demanding."
"By welcoming new players with an extensive tutorial section, sticking to its tactical theme, and providing a good role distribution, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam creates an immersive experience and a good time for casuals and tryhards alike. It could use a bit more love and creativity on the gameplay side, but it stands as a great option for players looking for a large-scale shooter that rewards teamwork, and it's not afraid of sticking to its realism, ignoring most tendencies from popular arcade shooters."
The game recently showcased a story trailer during Sony's State of Play, featuring the eerie Scottish town of St. Amelia and protagonist Simon Ordell, who navigates his unsettling surroundings with a CRTV device. This unique mechanic seems to be central to the game's narrative and gameplay, inviting players to explore the haunting atmosphere of Silent Hill in a fresh way.
Further insights into the game were provided in a Silent Hill Transmission hosted by Konami, detailing its mechanics and story elements. Originally announced in 2022, Silent Hill: Townfall is part of a broader revival of the series, joining other notable projects like the Silent Hill 2 Remake and Silent Hill f, both of which have delighted horror fans.
Silent Hill: Townfall promises to be a full-length, self-contained psychological horror experience. For those who are fans of the franchise, this could be a thrilling addition to the lore and atmosphere we've come to love. The trailer showcases various elements that fans can expect, from eerie environments to intense gameplay moments that are sure to keep players on the edge of their seats.
Director Jon McKellan has infused the Otherworld with a unique aesthetic, reminiscent of the original Silent Hill. Still, with a distinct fever-dream quality, everything is tinged with unsettling shades of red. As Simon ventures further into this haunting environment, he finds himself armed with a pistol, but the danger is ever-present. The Otherworld is crawling with grotesque, fleshy monsters that will attack on sight, making stealth and strategy essential for survival.
