He had a deleted lap due to slightly going outside track limits of 1:04.772. Would've put him 12th, not much better than where he was.

Would have left him 0.07 behind his teammate rather than 0.9. Might not have mattered much in the overall classification, but wouldn't have looked near as bad in comparison to the other team car.

Q1 is complete and out go - Kimi Raikkonen, Sergio Perez, Nicholas Latifi, Antonio Giovinazzi and Romain Grosjean. Obviously, the big casualty is Perez.
