Just watched Putin's Victory Day Parade speech - he's so paranoid and full of shit.

It didn't sound like a speech of someone pivoting or looking for a way out but some Western "leaders" are deluding themselves up to this day. Only a total Ukrainian victory can end this terror once and for all.
Former KGB people are all the same. Their whole purpose in life is to fight and win against the West. That's their whole attitude and the only reason Putin was more or less Europe friendly in the last decade was only for trading reasons.

Ben Wallace has confirmed that the UK is donating an undisclosed amount of long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine. In parliament, he said: "The donation of these weapons systems gives Ukraine the best chance to defend themselves".

However, British Storm Shadow Missiles are already in Ukraine for the counter-offensive, according to CNN.

With a 300km range and a powerful warhead equivalent to a Tomahawk, Storm Shadow missiles can reach all of Ukraine including Crimea, and are capable of destroying the Crimean Bridge!

Choosing Bakhmut for the first counteroffensive seems more of a propaganda value than strategic. "You tried for so long and failed, now watch what we do" etc.

Looks like the UA has made advances further north and south of Bakhmut and also made some other small gains as well. Still not a large scale offensive, but nice nonetheless.

What if there are no large scale offensive plans, just talk about it to scare and confuse the Russians and maybe the leaked details last month was part of the plan?

Maybe the real offensive is lots of little attacks in many areas to gain back ground?

The status quo doesn't work for Ukraine, so they definitely do have plans for large-scale offensives.

Reports are saying that around 25 UAVs have attacked Moscow this morning. This comes after days of drone attacks on Kyiv by Russia. You reap what you sow.
I'm looking at the drone footage now.

Lack of charges. Sophisticated but not western-supplied. Staged?

BBC has avoided stating that though but Sky News has been discussing this very topic.

Can't see any benefit whatsoever to these drone attacks, other than to signal to Russia that Moscow isn't untouchable. But I'd say that Ukraine has far more to lose than to gain with seemingly indiscriminate drone attacks against Russia - which makes me think that this isn't sanctioned by the Ukrainian government (could be some 3rd party or a false flag).
