Paul Pogba will make his return to football early in 2025 after his 4 year drug ban was reduced to just 18 months.

Pogba can start training with Juventus in January and will be allowed to play official matches by March.

He's still only 31, feels like he's been around forever. Should be at the prime of his career and ending it like Kroos or Modric, but probably off to Saudi now. Don't think I've seen a more naturally gifted midfielder who has everything in the toolbox - skill, technique, dribbling, passing, shooting, but also the physical attributes.

Injury-free Pogba was such a joy to watch. Obviously, it will be difficult to come back to football with the extended period outside of football and the constant injuries, but hopefully, he can still have some good years of football in him.

He'll probably end up in the Middle East or America.

Some mad stuff going on in French football. First Bordeaux, now Lyon. Two of France's biggest clubs being relegated due to financial troubles in the same year.

Wasn't that long ago that they were perennial champions in France. This is a pretty big deal for French football if it comes to pass. Could be more to follow, as it seems the whole division is experiencing solvency issues outside of PSG.
