Bills GM Brandon Beane said new DE Michael Hoecht and DT Larry Ogunjobi got a notice for a PED violation with a suspension and both will be out for 6 games to start 2025.

They'll be with the team through training camp, and then away from the team for 4 weeks.

The Cincinnati Bengals are keeping Joe Burrow's top two targets for the long term.

Cincinnati has agreed to four-year contracts with wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, a team source said. Chase and Cincinnati reached a four-year, $161 million deal with $112 guaranteed, while Higgins — who Cincinnati used the franchise tag on last month — agreed to a four-year, $115 million contract with the first two years guaranteed, according to the source.

$125m per year tied up to Burrow, Chase and Higgins now apparently. They mishandled this so badly, could've saved tens of millions per year if they hadn't fecked around so long with Higgins and just extended Chase last offseason when he wanted to.

The Houston Texans locked down their lockdown cornerback, agreeing to a three-year, $90 million deal with Derek Stingley Jr., including new guarantees of $63.5 million, a league source said Monday. NFL owners tabled a proposal to ban the play on Tuesday during the league's annual meeting. The discussions that sparked drama throughout the week will continue indefinitely, rolling until a resolution is reached on whether the play is amended, prohibited or left alone.

The 2025 NFL Draft gets underway tonight in Green Bay with Cam Ward, Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter among the top prospects expecting to hear their names called early.

The Tennessee Titans have the first overall pick, followed by the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. The Titans are widely expected to select Ward at No. 1.

How much time do teams have to make their pick?

• First round: Teams have 10 minutes to make their pick
• Second round: Seven minutes
• Rounds 3-6: Five minutes
• Seventh round: Four minutes

1. Cam Ward, QB, Miami (Potential Landing Spot - Titans)​

It became clear at the NFL combine in February that Ward would be the No. 1 pick. The only question left was whether the Titans would stick and make the pick themselves or trade out. First-year general manager Mike Borgonzi confirmed this week that his team will stay put. The Titans are going with the quarterback.

2. Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado (Browns)​

The Browns taking the best player in the draft at No. 2 makes the most sense. And playing Hunter on offense would also make sense, considering Cleveland ranked dead last in the league last season in offensive scoring and third-down conversions.

3. Abdul Carter, edge, Penn State (Giants)​

Although edge rusher isn't a glaring need for the Giants, the smart philosophy is to draft impact players, not positions, in the top three. Carter is one of the best prospects in the draft class, too, which should make this an easy decision.

4. Will Campbell, OT, LSU (Patriots)​

The Patriots have a need at left tackle, and Campbell is the top offensive lineman in the draft. Sometimes, things just fit. Despite some of the concerns about his length, Campbell has the skill set to become a Pro Bowler, even if he's ultimately moved inside to guard.

5. Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State (Jaguars)​

It isn't difficult to make the argument that Jeanty would create a greater impact for the Jaguars than any other prospect available. Offensive-minded head coach Liam Coen could do some fun things with a core of Jeanty, Trevor Lawrence and Brian Thomas Jr.

Here are the top five quarterbacks in this year's draft, according to the experts.

3. Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss
4. Tyler Shough, Louisville

The Browns, Steelers and possibly Vikings could be involved in a trade for Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins. Minnesota is looked at as the least likely scenario, given its preference for J.J. McCarthy and that Cousins would need to sign off on any trade he is involved in. It's believed that Cousins would be against any trade that involves sending him to a situation involving a young QB, similar to the situation he faced in Atlanta last year. If a trade were to happen, I'd expect it to go down on Saturday.

The Falcons have made clear they are moving forward with Penix as their starter, and Cousins has told general manager Terry Fontenot, along with head coach Raheem Morris and team owner Arthur Blank, that he would rather play somewhere else as a starter than return to Atlanta as a backup. Cousins attended the first day of the Falcons' voluntary offseason program on Tuesday, but Fontenot declined to say Wednesday if he expects the quarterback to be a regular attendee during the offseason program.

Fontenot refuted a report from ESPN that Atlanta is asking any teams who are trading for Cousins to pay $20 million of his remaining salary. Cousins was guaranteed $90 million at the signing of his deal and earned a $10 million roster bonus in March.
