In a cap-saving move, the Patriots released outside linebacker Anfernee Jennings, according to a league source. The transaction will clear up more than $4 million against the cap for the Patriots.

Jennings had been a key defender for the Patriots under Bill Belichick, but his play style didn't fit as well under coach Mike Vrabel, leading to a dip in his playing time in 2025.

Because of that, this move isn't shocking. But it does underscore the importance for the Patriots to build depth at edge rusher this offseason.

They agreed to terms with Dre'Mont Jones earlier this week, but they'll still need at least one more edge rusher, and could even use their first-round pick at the position.

The Colts and DE Micheal Clemons have agreed to a three-year, $17.5 million deal that could be worth up to $18.5 million, league sources confirm.

Clemons was a fourth-round pick by the Jets in 2022. He had 8.5 sacks in four years in New York.

The Indianapolis Colts and Daniel Jones have agreed to a two-year contract worth up to $100 million with a base value of $88 million, league sources confirmed. Jones initially received the one-year, $37.8 million transition tag from the Colts before reaching a multiyear agreement.

Per source, the 49ers and TE Jake Tonges have struck a two-year deal worth $8 million overall and $5.5 million guaranteed. Tonges, who filled in well for George Kittle last season, had been a restricted free agent.

The Buffalo Bills have agreed to sign former Miami Dolphins edge rusher Bradley Chubb to a three-year, $43.5 million contract worth up to $52.5 million, league sources confirmed.

The development ended a long silence that had Bills fans nervous as bigger stars such as Trey Hendrickson and Maxx Crosby went (or stayed) elsewhere. Chubb, 29, became available when the Dolphins released him Wednesday, allowing the Bills to shore up a position of need.

The San Francisco 49ers are adding a familiar face to their linebacker corps, agreeing to terms Thursday with Dre Greenlaw on a one-year, $7.5 million deal, a league source confirmed.

Greenlaw was released this week by the Denver Broncos, one season into a three-year, $31.5 million deal he signed in March 2025. He played in only eight regular-season games for Denver as he dealt with quad and hamstring injuries. He missed one game because of a suspension after a verbal altercation with referee Brad Allen following Denver's Week 7 victory against the New York Giants. He finished the season with 43 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble.

S Rodney Thomas has signed with the Seahawks, league sources confirm.

The Colts drafted Thomas in the seventh round in 2022. He started 25 games over his first two years. Just one the last two years. Six career interceptions.

DE Samson Ebukam is signing with the Falcons, league sources confirm.

Ebukam spent the last three years with the Colts. He had 9.5 sacks in 2023, missed 2024 due to a torn Achilles and had two sacks in 2025.

After losing Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency, the Seahawks are adding a veteran to their running back room: former Packers running back Emanuel Wilson. The former undrafted free agent has recorded 1,083 yards in 41 NFL games.

The Vikings have reached agreement with former Cardinals QB Kyler Murray, sources confirm.

After seven seasons in Arizona, Murray will join Kevin O'Connell and J.J. McCarthy in Minnesota on a one-year deal.
