This bizarre season continues, this weekend title chasing Leicester and Tottenham fall to defeats against Leeds and Brighton respectively.

Tottenham, in particular, have been very inconsistent since the turn of the year.

Man City are the most consistent team. They may not be playing spectacular football but they are winning games. Three points clear with a game in hand looks ominous for the rest of the league.

Ralph Hasenhüttl and Southampton have suffered their second 9-0 in just over a year. He turned it around the last time but they are on a bad run of form at the minute.

There could be a "shock" winner this year but Man City must be the favourites the way they are playing - 9 league wins in a row now and a game in hand over the other teams.

The season has been very reminiscent of the season when Leicester shocked the football world and won the league.

Very important they don't lose to City, be well capable of turning up and beating them obviously and City will play their own game - not set up to frustrate like Brighton and Burnley which will suit Liverpool more.

Big statement by Man City today going to the home of the champions and putting 4 past them.

Three straight defeats at home for Liverpool. I didn't think I'd see what did a while.

I think we can say Liverpool are out of the title race now.

I can't see City dropping too many points between now and the end of the season unless Europe distracts them.
