Positive steps today, hopefully, the beginning of the end of the war but it remains to be seen what Russia says.
Definitely a positive step. Good to hear some good news for a change. But, it is only a small step, the biggest victory for Ukraine today will have been the resumption of US intelligence and military support.
All eyes are on Russia now, this is a step in the right direction. We need the killing to stop hopefully at some point.

The Ukrainians certainly aren't going to stop if the Russians aren't, and Putin won't stop unless he gets all his demands, which is why its unlikely they will accept. One thing this does is eliminate Ukraine from being perceived as an impediment to peace. The ball is now in Putin's court.
