I've watched the first 2 episodes. Episode 1 is very slow and I wasn't sure about it but I was intrigued enough to watch another one. I'm glad I did - it gets much better then. So for anyone who's stalling, I'd say stick with it, it's very good.

It is based on a true story.

There's one thing I didn't understand - maybe someone knows the answer? Towards the end of episode 2, the female Dutch detective talked on the phone to a forensic lab about a report that indicated there is no match between a DNA sample provided by Melissa's family and the body in the suitcase. The detective was convinced the report was wrong, but the lab was adamant that the result was correct. However, it turned out that Melissa's body was identified years later by cross-checking against family DNA - so what was that earlier scene all about? There was never any explanation as to why the DNA didn't match up the first time. That confused me a little.
