Looking forward to seeing what happens after that Season 4 finale. Hopefully, it picks up from how it ended with some explanations on how they survived/escaped.
This fight wasn't the best but what a spectacle.
The crowd were brilliant, the atmosphere was unbelievable and Katie is simply one of the most inspirational humans, to say you want something so big and so extraordinary and to get it against all odds. The Irish did themselves proud, 82,000 people showing up for a female boxer, who'd have ever thought it (apart from her!).
A brilliant send off for an amazing woman.

Watched this last night which was the perfect watch. It's a light hearted, pleasant riff on the whodunit genre, with a great cast - both the humans and the voice acting - and a reasonably solid plot to keep your attention throughout its running time. The characterisation of the sheep is great and it's very well shot overall. Great family/easy weeknight kind of watch.
The new season just started at the weekend. It's a bit far-fetched in the smarts of the terrorists etc, but it's a watchable, all-action season so far.
Soderbergh back to close his best, in my opinion. A twisty, spy movie with a good cast, more based on relationships and deception than explosions and car chases. Probably a good fit for the audience that enjoys the Slow Horses books or show - a bit drier than those, but still not without humour.
The IGN review for this is interesting. The reviewer finished the game three times!
So apparently the game is time-limited within the game world. Time is a resource. Levelling up and quests eat up this time. Standing around doing sod all outside of a quest doesn't. Apparently, this is a really good game mechanic that forces you to play through the game again, as you can't see or do everything in one playthrough.
Parry system apparently takes a few hours to master.
The daytime as a human and the nighttime as a vampire are interesting mechanics. Didn't realise some of the Devs who used to work on Witcher 3 worked on this.
Will go onto my backlog, which is already too long to play one day
Chelsea also failed to sign Lamine Camara, the deal was agreed, paperwork exchanged but Monaco did not give final confirmation to the transfer and once a revised agreement was reached with Everton over Balogun, they the Balogun deal fell through and it was too late for Chelsea to revive the Camara deal because the 11pm transfer deadline had passed and Monaco had not signed a deal sheet to enable an extension.
This is really a low-risk, high-reward for the Rams: if it doesn't work the cost to them is minimal; if it does, there may be another championship on the horizon.
Argentina captain Lionel Messi has confirmed his retirement from international football.
The 39-year-old's last appearance for Argentina was the World Cup final defeat by Spain. It was Messi's sixth appearance at a World Cup and one in which he became only the second player (after Brazil's Cafu) to appear in three men's World Cup finals, having won the previous edition in 2022 and been a runner-up to Germany in 2014.
Messi's astonishing international career was of course about so much more than just statistics - both on and off the field - but, nevertheless, with him finally now stepping away from the Argentina team for good after 21 years, it is worth detailing just how extraordinary his numbers really were.
He played for Argentina 207 times and scored 125 goals, with Ronaldo of Portugal (233 games and 146 goals) the only man ahead of him on either metric.
A remarkable 21 of those goals came at the World Cup and 14 at Copa America, meaning Messi scored more goals for Argentina at major tournaments than Diego Maradona scored in total for the South American nation (35 to 34).
Fifteen of his goals at the World Cup came after turning 35 years old, with only Mbappe (22) and Klose (16) bettering that figure among all players at any age in the competition's 96-year history.
Overall, he played at six World Cups and seven editions of Copa America, winning the former once (in 2022) and the latter twice (in 2021 and 2024).
His debut came in a friendly in August 2005, when he was sent off against Hungary after less than two minutes (one of two red cards he received for Argentina) and over the course of his time with Argentina he had 187 different team-mates, with one born in 1972 (Roberto Abbondanzieri) and another born in 2007 (Franco Mastantuono).
One of my favourite books of the last 10 years.
My only mild concern is that the trailer seems to imply a lot more action than I remember the book being about.
Rockstar Games has recently announced that Grand Theft Auto 6 will not feature microtransactions or generative AI at its launch, scheduled for November 19, 2026. This news came during a discussion with Kinda Funny Games, where the developers aimed to clarify some of the gaming community's concerns.
During a preview event, Kinda Funny's Andy Cortez directly asked Rockstar about the possibility of in-game purchases using real money. The answer was a clear "no," indicating that players will not face any monetization strategies that allow for such transactions. This is a relief for many fans who have been eagerly awaiting the next installment in the beloved franchise, especially after a long 13-year wait.
Additionally, Greg Miller from Kinda Funny inquired about the use of generative AI in the game, to which Rockstar responded that there would be "no AI" incorporated into GTA 6. This decision is particularly noteworthy, as generative AI has been a contentious topic in the gaming industry, often leading to mixed reactions from players.
While the absence of microtransactions and generative AI is certainly good news, it's important to note that Rockstar will be offering an Ultimate Edition of the game for £89.99/$99.99. This edition, which is £20/$20 more than the standard version, will include exclusive content such as cosmetic packs, vehicles, and access to specific shops like the Electric Fang tattoo parlor and Stock 305 clothing store. Players who purchase the standard edition will have the option to upgrade to the Ultimate Edition separately.
The Ultimate Edition bonuses will be integrated throughout the game's narrative, enhancing the experience for those who choose this option. However, for players who prefer to stick with the standard edition, it appears that the core gameplay will remain free from additional monetization tactics.
We brought TV legend Shaun Wallace, better known as The Dark Destroyer, down to Cobham to take on members of his beloved Chelsea FC. Can anyone, from Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers, to Levi Colwill and Reece James defeat him?
