I think the league is quite open this year - maybe half a dozen clubs with a genuine chance of challenging. I know it is early but Man City look like they will be battling to make the top 4 instead of the title. Over the past few weeks, Chelsea has started to look like their team is beginning to gel.

Liverpool are still the team to beat. Chelsea could be their main challengers this year and Tottenham will be a solid outfit under Mourinho's guidance. Man United, Man City and Arsenal look well off the pace at the moment so Everton, Wolves and Leicester may be fighting for the final Champions League spot.

The Premier League has confirmed its full fixture schedule for December. Each team will play at least six times over the course of the month, with fans returning to some stadiums following the announcement of England's regional tiers when the national COVID-19 lockdown ends on December 2.

The matches will be shown between the Premier League's two main broadcasters, Sky Sports and BT Sport, as well as some games being televised by the BBC and Amazon Prime Video.

The BBC's lone fixture will be Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace at Villa Park at 3pm on Saturday 26 December.

Amazon Prime Video will broadcast all 10 fixtures between Monday 28 December and Wednesday 30 December.

Southampton leading Man United 20 at half-time. I have got to admire Southampton. It's just over a year since the 9-0 hammering against Leicester. They could have sacked Hassenhutl then as a knee jerk reaction and I'm sure the majority of their fans wouldn't have protested that. But they stuck with him and are now set to be in the top 4 at the end of the day (if the result stays the same).
