Impressive from Liverpool tonight. All too easy against Wolves.

Well, the Manchester derby is one of the worst 90 minutes I've watched so far this season. Like a tepid, pre-season game, and not really because of lack of fans either tbh.

For the amount spent on these teams, it was shocking football.

Truly awful game of football. Both Manchester teams are going backwards.

City hasn't managed to string together 4 or 5 wins on the bounce since they last won the league. There is nothing to suggest they can add consistency like that. Bar the standard 5-0 drubbings of the usual suspects, Pep looks fresh out of ideas.

I didn't watch the game but City has been poor in the league so far this season.

I wonder is Pep focusing everything on the Champions League this season and just using the Premier League to peak for that in the second half of the season?

A lot can change between now and the spring but I don't think playing badly domestically is key to Europe, everything seems so slow and everything is on De Bruyne. Yeah, they've kept clean sheets lately but Porto, Marseille, Olympiakos, Burnely, Fulham, and United (who played not to lose today) aren't elite competition.

Bad weekend for the "top" teams. Along with the Manchester teams playing out a drab goalless draw. Liverpool draw with Fulham. Tottenham draw with Crystal Palace and Chelsea lose to Everton.

Southampton's 3-0 win against Sheff United today sees them move into 3rd place in the league.

In the late games, Leicester beat Brighton 3-0 and move above Southampton into 3rd place.

Burnley beat Arsenal 1-0 for just their second win of the season and move out of the bottom 3.

Mikel Arteta must be in danger of losing his job?

Man City are woeful. They need a rebuild, there is no creativity or energy in their team. This is one of the worst performances I've seen from Kevin De Bruyne.

Great battling performance by WBA. Big 2 points dropped by City.

5 points separating the top 10 with a third of the season gone.

Wide open league this season.
