Mediocre first half in the top of the table clash between Liverpool and Man United.

Game going the way you'd expect in terms of possession and territory, but Liverpool doing very little with it. Firmino wasted a couple of chances to set Robertson up.

Man United probably more threatening on the counter, but not that much really.

Been a boring match so far.

United should win, Liverpool have two central midfielders at the heart of their defence.

Poor game. Always think it will be a cracker and then every time its shite

Fair play to United, they looked dangerous on the attack although in fairness they were never winning that game. Liverpool line-up really makeshift at this stage.

Yet another Liverpool/Man United game that turned out to be absolutely dreadful. Why do Sky keep hyping it up to the nth degree?

There's been more turkeys than classics in the past 4 or 5 seasons.

Frank Lampard is having a nightmare at Chelsea after a promising start. If they don't start getting results soon he may well be out of a job. Abramovich won't except this kind of form after making a huge investment in the summer.

Thomas Tuchel is apparently the one lined up to take over. Read that a few times last week.

Not a lot of options out there really besides himself and Allegri. Would think Tuchel is a decent enough fit for this squad though.

Liverpool's stuttering form continued tonight as their 68-game unbeaten run at Anfield was ended by Burnley who came away with a 1-0 victory.

Crazy to think we are talking about sacking Frank Lampard. Chelsea are only 5 points off Liverpool.

Yeah, their approach of sacking and hiring over the years has defo worked as far as the trophy cabinet goes but you eventually run out of top managers you can hire! It's how Frank ended up there in the first place.

Not sure about Tuchel and he didn't come across very well when Liverpool played Dortmund in the Europa that time. Any decent manager is going to get them much better organised but I don't see him winning the big trophies with them ahead of Klopp or Guardiola.
