Cracking strike by Lucas Paqueta but, yes, I can see West Ham being in a relegation battle this season.

Nuno Espirito Santo has had a spectacular fallout with Edu behind the scenes at Nottingham Forest. This has led to Nuno Espirito Santo saying the relationship between himself and Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has changed for the worse as Marinakis backs Edu, who he recently appointed as Global Head of Football.

"Our relationship has changed... it's not good." says Santo about his relationship with Marinakis.

Nuno might beat Graham Potter in the first manager to be sacked race.

Spurs lead Man City 2-0 at half-time.

Shocking goalkeeping. After this display from Trafford, City will sign Donnarumma for sure now.

I think it will be between Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea for the league this year. City are still a mess at the back.

I don't think City are thd team to beat this season.

They are absolutely diabolical at thd back and teams have no fear of them anymore.

Pep won't see the season out if they continue like this. They have to play both Man Jnutdd and Arsenal in the next few weeks.

Very good from Spurs.

It would be silly to write-off City. Poor goalkeeping from Trafford but if Marmoush dinks that first half chance a little higher and imo City win. Plus they practically played with 10 men in starting Cherki. A player totally unsuited to the PL. I'm sure he'll be a useful sub as he has 'moments', but can't imagine Pep starting him against good teams anymore.

Liverpool were lucky to win that but it's three points that matter. Harsh on Newcastle, they played well, especially with ten men.

Well, Leeds vs Newcastle was a game to forget. THREE shots on target all game! Woeful staff.

I think this will also be Eddie Howe's last season at Newcastle - he, and the board, will release that he cannot take the team any further, and a change will be made.

I think Ginger could be right. Early doors, I know, but I've not been impressed by Newcastle and I don't think they have the squad to compete in the PL and CL.

Shame old Man City. Unravelled yet again.

Brighton have been brilliant since they made their substitutions.

City won't win the league this year. I had them finishing 4th in the prediction thread and that looks about right.

Massive win for Liverpool against Arsenal. I don't think they've got going at all yet, but they have full points from 3 games and are 4 points better off than the corresponding fixtures last season. Szobozslai and Kerkez were really good. Wirtz was better in the second half, but not looking like a £100 million player at all yet.

Arsenal were ok in the first half but dropped off in the second. Another disappointing game from Gyokeres.

The title will be between these two, so a big 3 points for the champions.
