He started last season really well. He's clearly a talented player but his knees are made of glass. Hopefully whatever else the surgery helps him health wise in the long term.

That's really sad. I knew he was fighting advanced cancer but up until a few weeks ago he seemed like he was doing well.

Another rule that the PGMOL will implement for the first month of the season then drop. You can have sensible rules but they're useless if the officials are incompetent.

FIFA will review the introduction of 4 groundbreaking rules to reshape football from March 1:
OFFSIDE RULE PROPOSED BY ARSENE WENGER: A player will be considered offside if their entire body crosses the last defender's line. This means offside decisions based on a few millimetres will no longer be penalised.
REFEREE DECISIONS WILL BE EXPLAINED THROUGH MICROPHONES TO THE ENTIRE STADIUM: After consulting VAR, referees will explain their decision via a microphone to all spectators present in the stadium.
THE CONSULTATION SYSTEM: Each coach will be allowed to request a limited number of VAR checks during the match to review a controversial action.
REFEREES CAN STOP THE CLOCK: Referees will be able to stop the clock to assess a situation or in case of a severe injury. The goal is to eliminate time-wasting and prioritise actual playing time.
If these rules are APPROVED, they will be implemented on July 1, 2025.

In previous years he may have been seen as a QB who was better with his legs than throwing the ball. I think that has changed over the last two seasons. He has been excellent this year. He is one of the most explosive QB's in the league. Just look at his regular season stats this year.

He is likely to win his 3rd MVP Award this year and he was already the only player in football history with a Heisman Trophy and two NFL MVP awards, so he will also become the first with a Heisman and three NFL MVP awards.
He might not reach the historic figures of the likes of Brady, Brees, Manning, Rodgers etc but he is definitely one of the best QBs in the NFL.

Saudi Arabia has officially been selected to host the 2034 FIFA Men's World Cup 🏆
