Don't think it will be too long before Watford are looking for a new manager.

Ranieri was never going to be the answer for a team fighting relegation.

Watford have sacked Ranieri.

No real surprise, as C Crabtree says it was never a good fit.

Roy Hodgson is set to be named Watford manager. The 74 year old will take up the role until the end of the season.

Frank Lampard on the verge of becoming the new Everton manager. The former Chelsea manager has emerged as the preferred choice of the Everton board.

Everton have appointed Frank Lampard as their new manager on a two-and-a-half-year contract to replace the sacked Rafael Benitez

I can see either Leeds or Brentford getting relegated.

Both teams have been in poor form lately. In Leeds case, very poor form.

Leeds have been shocking lately, taking some big hammerings. I don't think Bielsa will be there next season and I'm not sure they have the players for a relegation fight.

Burnley looks like the most likely of the bottom 3 to escape although you can never tell with Watford.

Everton, Leeds and Brentford are all getting dragged into the fight - any 3 from the bottom 7 could still go down - I think Villa and Leicester are almost safe though Leicester have been very poor lately too and Rodgers may be gone sooner rather than later.

"Second season syndrome" for Leeds.

Just like Sheffield United found out (and others before them), in the second season it can be much harder to survive relegation. It will be a good season for Leeds if they manage to secure their Premier League status for a third season.

Leeds trailing 0-3 after 30 minutes against Tottenham in the early game today.

I can see Bielsa either walking away or being sacked in the next few days. Their form has dropped off a cliff recently and they are taking some batterings.

Marcelo Bielsa has left Leeds United by mutual consent.
