A playful, beginner-friendly pose where the dancer’s legs come into a tucked or straddle position while hanging from bent arms, resembling the shape of an ice cream cone. Often used as a transition or mid-spin variation.
A grounded, whip-like spin typically performed in exotic heels, featuring strong shaping of the back leg and a dramatic torso sweep. Named after its widespread use in Russian Exotic choreography.
A rotation where the dancer pivots around the pole while lowering the upper body toward the floor, creating a "tilted spiral" illusion. The leg sweeps in a circular motion while the torso stays elongated.
A foundational spin where the inside leg hooks around the pole (either front or back) while the body rotates. Easier for many beginners compared to outside hook spins.
The counterpart to Gemini (outside leg hang). The inside leg hooks over the pole, allowing the dancer to lean away and create inverted transitions. Feels more secure for some dancers, trickier for others due to hip rotation.
